Natural conditioners not only adds lot of moisture and shine to your hair but they are also easy to prepare and cost-effective in nature. So if you have already discovered the benefits of using natural shampoos, why not give conditioners a try also? There are number of ingredients in your kitchen cabinets that can be used to prepare natural hair conditioner for your dull and damaged hair.

For treating the problem of spilt ends, prepare a conditioner using rose water, jojoba oil and vitamin E oil. Warm rose water and add both the ingredients to it and mix well. Now gently massage into your hair. Rinse out after 7 minutes.

To cure the problem of dry hair, add olive oil with honey and massage into your hair. Leave for 10 minutes and then rinse out using shampoo.

If you are troubled by vey dry hair, try mayonnaise. Massage it thoroughly into your hair and comb your hair. Wash after 10 minutes.

If your hair is very oily or of you want to get rid from left-over hair products, rinse your hair with lemon juice or apple cider vinegar.

You can also prepare natural hair conditioner for curly hair by mixing plain yogurt with egg. Apply it nicely onto your hair and leave for 10-15 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with homemade shampoo.

You would be glad to read that mayonnaise or yogurt can be used alone or you can add other ingredients (food pulp) having nutritious oils such as banana, cantaloupe, avocado, mango and squash etc. These ingredients have their own oils which softens hair in a nice way.

Yogurt treatments add lot of moisture and proteins to hair. Apply yogurt over clap, working in sections for better penetration. Cover hair with plastic cap and leave for 2 hours. Rinse out thoroughly with cool water.

You would be surprised to know that herbs like burdock, fenugreek and marshmallow root acts as great natural hair conditioners as they release mucilage when soaked. Even Indian herbs like amla and shikakai can be used as they are regarded as gentle cleansers and mild conditioners for hair.

For getting shiny and beautiful tresses, prepare an aloe vera conditioner by squeezing half lemon in bowl. Add half cup aloe vera gel to it with 4 drops of any oil of your choice and mix well. Apply on your hair and scalp. Rinse well after 3 minutes.
